The end of this internship was definitely bittersweet. I was very sad to see it end, but everything finished on a high note. Two people I worked closely with got me a cookie cake and I was assured that if I ever want to come back, I most certainly can. I'll miss Washington, my new friends and my independence but I am eager to return home to see my family (and my cozy bed).

I have golf season, senior year and college applications to keep me busy until Ali Goes Back to Washington. Until then....
